Who we are and what we collect

The Slush Lounge ("we", "us", "our") operates theslushlounge.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and what you can do about it.

When you enquire or book, we collect your name, email address and phone number; your event date, start and end time, and venue address; event type and estimated guest count; setup details such as indoor or outdoor, outlet location, steps or uneven ground, and parking or access restrictions; flavor preferences, toppings and special requests; and how you heard about us.
When you pay, payment is handled by our payment provider. We never see or store your full card number. We receive confirmation of payment, the amount, and the last four digits.
Automatically when you visit, we receive your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring site, and approximate city-level location, through our website platform's built-in analytics and cookies.
How we use and share your information
We use your information to answer enquiries and give you a quote; to plan and deliver your rental safely, which is why we ask about your setup, so we arrive with the right equipment and know what we are walking into; to send confirmations, agreements, reminders and receipts; to keep records required for tax and business purposes; and to improve the website. We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling.
We share it only with providers who help us run the business: our website platform, which hosts the site and handles bookings; our payment processor; professional advisors such as our accountant or attorney, where necessary; and government or law enforcement, where legally required.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not rent, trade or hand your details to marketers.
Cookies and tracking. The site uses cookies for essential functions and basic analytics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser; some parts of the site may stop working properly if you do.
Do Not Track. Some browsers send a Do Not Track signal. There is no common industry standard for responding to them. We do not currently respond to Do Not Track signals. We also do not knowingly allow third parties to collect personally identifiable information about your activity across other websites over time. California Business and Professions Code section 22575 requires us to say this.
Your choices
Email info@theslushlounge.com and we will respond within 30 days. You can ask us to see what we hold about you, correct anything wrong, delete it where we are not required to keep it for tax or legal reasons, or stop sending you marketing. We will not treat you differently for asking.
California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act where it applies. Based on our size and how we operate, we do not currently meet the thresholds that make the CCPA applicable, but we honor the requests above regardless.
How long we keep it. Booking and payment records: seven years, for tax purposes. Enquiries that do not become bookings: two years. Marketing contacts: until you unsubscribe.
Children. Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Security. We use reputable providers with standard security protections and limit who can access your information. No transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date, and emailed to customers where we have an address on file.
